A Kwonyin Voice Performance is an invocation.

Not to the spirits out there, but a calling of inner forces. There is aliveness and wildness living inside of us. In our day to day lives, we often miss our true expression. What does your spirit feel like, if you were given permission to truly take up space and unfold in your most fantastic and magical shape.

What gnarly anger lives there. What joyous vibrations live there?

A SOUNDING OF THE COLLECTIVE HEART

I was called to be a voice channeler and performer by chance. By my own inner necessity. Our voices are meant to be outlets of our expression. Straight from our heart. It’s a powerful full body and soul experience to speak, utter, cry, laugh, sigh your truth. Whatever that truth is. It touches on something that’s beyond language. Beyond our rational mind.

In a performance, I gather and feel into the group’s collective subconscious energy. I move into a near trance state where I’m not thinking in my rational mind anymore. I’m only feeling and sensing. The sound I generate is an unfiltered and uncensored translation. A shamanic invocation and summoning.

The performance can last about 20 min. A sound journey of cathartic release!
